Back to Life Back to Reality
Ah the joys of returning to work after vacation. It sucks.
The OBX was a good time as always, aside from the hurricane that was suppose to hit us and never really did. We had one day of high winds (about 30mph) and a little rain. we actually walked up to the beach to check things out. People had left and stores/restraunts were closed. For no reason really, but better safe then sorry I guess. This is the second year in a row that we were suppose to get a hurricane and we only had a small amount of effects from it. Last year while we were in the Bahamas they were suppose to get hit.....It actually hit us worse at home that Tuesday then it did the Saturday it hit the island. Guess we have to play it safe next time since 3 is a charm.
The girls were great on the trip. The house http://www.corollaclassicvacations.com/rental/CAROLINA1 we had this year had this awesome sand box under part of the deck with a ton of toys for the girls. They loved it. It was probably one of the better houses we have had in the past 5 years.
K slept on the top bunk, and she will tell you she climbed the ladder to get up there (so proud of herself). I slept on the bottom bed. R slept in his own room. K was up super early every morning....that sucked. L cut 2 new teeth while we were away and was miserable towards the end of the trip, the only down side to it all. Looking forward to next year already.
In other events, my laptop should be delivered today. I cannot wait to get it. went yesterday to Best Buy to buy the router for the wireless ....so you can guess what I will be doing tonight. :) Not looking forward to when have work to bring home but I will be able to blog and check MH more often. Plus it will make things alot easier when I start taking classes.
