Happy Holidays, Ya'll!

so its 2 days after christmas, it was a good time. the kids LOVED the roller coaster and play kitchen. they could care less about anything else they got. I honestly dont really know what the girls got from R's family (they came over for dessert) cause I was either in the kitchen or the kids were on the roller coaster the entire time. L is a MANIAC, the girl needs helmet. she was going off the coaster backwards without all the tracks. fall in off and laughing then getting up to do it again. she is definitely our boy. I love her to death but man she scares me sometimes.
my mom's aunt, who is also her godmother passed away Saturday morning. mom is definitely taking it hard, Aunt Sophia was like a second mom to her....they never had kids so they would take my mother everywhere with them. Tonight is the viewing tomorrow is the funeral. I just feel bad for my mom because I know she is regretting not going up to the rehab facility to see her, they had planned on going Christmas day. she had fallen before thanksgiving and broken a vertebrae in her neck and was in a hospital down in Camden, but they had moved her back up to Lawrenceville....we all thought she was doing better. I guess it was just her time. We know too that its just a matter of time too before Uncle Chet joins her. He is in his 90s (aunt soph was 86), they have/had been married for close to 65 years. just sad to see loved ones get old and pass on.
I am suppoes to be studying/reading for my Anatomy and Physiology class right now.... not motivated, which is not a good way to start out. but right now its the boring stuff cell structure and all that. of course its better then math!
ah well i will probably go check out the boards then study. gotta get something done while L is napping and K is downstairs being entertained by R (heehee I stuck him with learning how to play candyland......dora edition. i love the game but he can handle it)
peace out~

UGH

Its been a long time per usual. Things have been a little nutty with the holidays so close....rough this year since Christmas falls on a weekend this year. Its good for me work wise cause the week between christmas and new years i have 3 days off. We are hoping to take the girls into NYC one day to look at the windows and go see the tree. Hopefully it will work out.
I have my orientation for school on Dec. 15th and class starts the 19th. I am excited and nervous. Especially since K at least once a day tells me she wants me to stay home with them. I cant imagine what she will say when I am not around at bed time, that is usually our time to cuddle and chill. The first 13 months will be the worst. I know this and just have to deal with it. because in the long run it will be so much better.
So excited for Christmas this year. Its going to be so fun to see the girls reactions to everything! If the weather is ok on Sunday we are going to get our tree...cant wait! Every night on our drive home from Grammy and Poppys house (well everyday they are there....)we take a different way home to look at christmas lights with christmas music playing. they get all excited....its fun.
They are calling for 5-7 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow. I hope we get it, although if i cant get to work that means i have to go in this weekend which I really dont want to have to do. The girls built a snowman the other day with my mom its so cute! I will post a pic of it later. I want to be able to do that or pull them in a sled around the neighborhood.
I need to go do some more christmas shopping.....online.
~night ya'll
