Its been a few months

Lets see....Lexi's party came and went I cannot believe she is 2. The party went well despite the little bit of rain...thank god for the rented tent.....it saved my house.
We went to Jamaica for a week with the girls and my inlaws. After almost missing our flight (who knew international flights close check in an hour before departure) they gave us ALL seperate seats...so once on the plane I had to ask people to move around for us so the girls could at least sit with adults. They did this to more then one family traveling with young children. Then we land its hot as anything down there cause they are working on the airport so the only thing they have is these HUGE fans to try to cool things off......we are waiting for our luggage and the only thing of the 7 bags that comes off is the 2 golf bags. Yes the 2 bulkiest bags made it onto our flight. the other 5 pieces of luggage didnt. So R and I decide to hang at the airport and send my inlaws and the girls to the hotel...hoping they can get some food drink and maybe get L to talk a nap.
As we sit at the little Margaritaville bar who is standing next to us but Alonzo Mourning for the Miami Heat. He was footin huge.... R shook his hand, said congrats with on the win and what an awesome series it was. After a much needed Red Strip at like 11am...we went back to baggage claim to see the luggage coming around the turnstyle thingy. WOHOO we now had clothing...so off to the hotel we went. too early to check in for real we put suits on the girls so they could at least swim in the pool, R and I got lunch then hit the bar for some tasty beverages for the adults. We finally get our rooms, and they hand been cleaned yet. the wonderful bell boy made a call to the front desk and then ran back to get our new keys. By the time we got in L was napping (finally!) and we got to relax and change into some cooler clothing. We hit the beach for a bit after L woke up then had dinner. The trip was a success after all that mess in the beginning. It was great to be away but nice to come home finally.
Lets see what else....we finally got our new bed ordered and picked it up yesterday. I heart it. we still have to paint the trim in our room then my brother has to do the red strip for me. after that we can bring in the dressers. K's big girl furniture is ordered. I cant wait to get it! We got her a bunk with a futon (twin size). Next we will try L in the toddler bed although I am not ready for that and she dives into her crib at night so I dont think she is really ready yet either.

R is doing his first triathalon tomorrow morning. Should be intersting. I am proud of him for actually making this a goal. Hopefully he likes it and will continue to do them. I made shirts last night for the girls and I. Theirs say GO DADDY GO! mine has our last name and his # on it. K painted a picture to put on his bucket for in the transition area.
Word on the job front for him....they have a swearing in date of July 28 with a start date of July 31. Soooo psyched for this. Its going to be a great move for him.

School is going well, just started another mod this past week. Finals were the week after our vacation break...how much does that suck! But I did the best I have so far on finals so I guess it worked. Who cares that we went to Sesame Place with family that day and I left and went across the street to study at the Barnes and Noble for 2 hours before the test. HA! 6 more months of classroom then we go out on our 4 day a week clinical/externship. By this time next year I will be done!

Oh well I better get going, the girls and I have to hit the grocery store so we can make some pasta for dinner tonight daddy needs to carbo load before the big race :)
