another week goes by
I was sitting here last night doing some work, got up to put K to bed and noticed it was kind of light looking outside...so I look out the window and there is snow! Now mind you it had been windy and rainy all day so to see the blanket of white one the ground really caught me off guard. And this morning there are gusts up to 40mph so it sounds like the house will blow away (I know nothing compared to those of you in hurricane country, but not real common up here) and ice everywhere. I badly need to go grocery shopping, to BJs and the mall to get some much needed shopping done. But I am struggling with getting motivated to do it...read get dressed, get the girls dressed and bundled up (that will take a while) then scrape the car off. ugh. Not to mention our roads in the developement are horrible I can look out the front door and see that. So glad I pay the high taxes and see nothing in return....the kicker we have a school within walking distance so you would think they would plow because of that! Poor R had to get up and go to work in this!
School has been going alright. Doing very well in math, huge surprise there cause I suck at math. but my instructor is awesome, so it helps alot. I have learned or at least I understand more in the past 3 weeks then I do from like 13 years of math. Anatomy and Physiology is another story. I will like the class much more once we start the specific systems right now it bores me and my instructor is so unorganized its painful. One cool thing we are doing for the class though is a trip to the Franklin Institute to see http://sln.fi.edu/bodyworlds/ I am psyched. We get 5 hours of lab credit for it and have to write a paper...but it looks awesome. We have friends who went a couple weeks ago and said it was amazing. I know R and my mom wanna go so I am sure I will go again, there is an IMAX film too that we probably wont get to see when we go with class and I definitely want to see that.
K's birthday party is next Saturday at JumpStart Kids Club....they do it all I provide the cake and pizza. shoulds be a good time its like a Little Gym or Gymboree. She is very excited but she doesnt want anyone to sing to her. Probably the only child who hates the happiest song in the world as dh puts it. crazy kid. Then Sunday we are taking her skiing for the first time. L will be going too but either snow tubing or just playing in the snow with someone (we will take turns playing with her) I am super excited for this. its going to be so fun.
diaper duty calls to me..... I will post again soon. Have a great week.
